Umbrella Fabric Classification

There are mainly 4 kinds of fabrics for umbrellas, and the cost from low to high is polyester, PG fabric, nylon, and vinyl layer fabric.

Folded polyester material

The color is more vibrant, and after rubbing the umbrella cloth on your hands, the crease is noticeable and difficult to undo in polyester fabric. On the polyester, also known as the silver plastic umbrella, spread a coating of silver adhesive. The silver tape's ultraviolet protection is reasonably effective, however, after extensive use, the silver glue in the folded position is easily removable. What we typically refer to as a pearl fabric umbrella is a polyester coated with a layer of silver powder. Although the color of pearl clothing is more vivid and well-liked by women, it has no effect on blocking ultraviolet sun rays.

Folding PG cloth

High-density impact cloth is a brand-new kind of fabric that is also known as PG cloth or impact cloth. PG has the following qualities: it is a matte, dark color. Although the price of PG cloth is quite pricey and the fabric feels like cotton and has good light-blocking qualities, its anti-ultraviolet capabilities, quality stability, and color grade are all ideal. It makes a decent umbrella cloth. PG fabric is typically only utilized in expensive umbrellas.

Folded nylon

High-end umbrella fabrics include nylon fabric. This style of rain poncho has a vibrant color and a silky feel in the hand. It offers little resistance when the palm moves back and forth over it. But this type of fabric has a flaw: It shrinks more noticeably when the air is wet, and occasionally it even interferes with the umbrella surface's usual opening and shutting. As a result, there aren't many of our frequently used umbrella fabrics.

Folded vinyl layered fabric

Compared with other umbrella fabrics, the vinyl layer fabric has the following advantages:

1. It is not easy to age, and the silver glue fabric is easy to cause the coating to age and fall off after long-term use;

2. The parasol made of vinyl layer fabric can effectively cool down 3-5 ℃ in the sun;

3. It has Super UV protection. The actual UV protection performance of the parasols on the market is different due to the different vinyl coating processes or fabric quality.

Advantages
